Don’t like power lifting?

Tired of endless cardio that don’t give you the results you’re after?

It’s time to try Kettlebell workouts!
Kettlebell training is a full body compound workout that combines strength and cardio to build muscle, burn calories and increase mobility - all in a hour.

Did you know? A one hour kettlebell workout is equivalent to doing a full-body lifting session and a HIIT class at the same time, burning between 400 and 600 calories!

Why Kettlebell Training is for you. Yes, you!

Here’s the key thing about Kettlebell Training: It’s a compound workout. What’s that, you ask?

You’re probably wondering about injuries

Maybe you’ve been injured trying kettlebells before. Or you think kettlebell swinging looks ‘dangerous’. The main reasons people get hurt are: skipping the learning curve, not using the right technique, or doing too much too soon.

Our trainer is certified in Functional Kettlebell Trainer, recognized by NASM, ACE, CEC, NCCA, CSCS, and ISSA, with over 6 years of experience.

We focus on proper technique and appropriate weights in our classes. Beginners are introduced to new exercises once they have grasped foundational movements.

What to expect

We welcome everyone, from absolute beginners to prior kettlebell practitioners.

FAQs

1I already run / cycle / do HIIT. Why do I need kettlebell training?
Cardio builds endurance but doesn't build functional strength or address muscle imbalances. Kettlebell training combines both in one session, so it complements (or replaces) two separate workouts. If your goal is to feel stronger and move better (not just burn calories), this closes the gap.
2Will kettlebell training bulk me up?
No. Bulking up requires heavy loads, low reps, and a caloric surplus — the opposite of how kettlebell training works. Kettlebell workouts are high-rep and metabolic, which builds lean, functional muscle and burns calories rather than adding mass. Most people find they look more toned and move more efficiently.
3I don't have time for another workout. Is once a week actually worth it?
Yes, as a starting point. One structured hour of kettlebell training taxes your whole body in a way that most hour-long workouts don't. Pair it with your existing activity and you'll notice the difference within weeks.
4 I've tried kettlebells before and hurt myself. Why would this be different?
Most injuries happen from self-teaching or jumping into heavy weights too fast. Classes here start with foundational technique and appropriately light weights — new movements are only introduced once you've got the basics right. Our trainer is NASM/ACE/NCCA certified with 6+ years of experience.
5 I'm not a gym person. Is this going to feel like a gym class?
There are no mirrors or machines. Our classes are held outdoors at East Coast Park. The environment is low-pressure and the class sizes are small. It's structured, but not intimidating.
6Is kettlebell training good for beginners with no strength training background?
Yes. Beginners start at 6kg and focus on form before progressing. You don't need any prior strength training experience, the programme is designed to build from scratch safely.
7Is kettlebell training safe for people with lower back issues?
When done with correct technique, kettlebell training strengthens the posterior chain (glutes, hamstrings, lower back), which often reduces back pain over time. That said, if you have an existing injury, flag it before class so modifications can be made.
8How is this different from a regular gym workout?
Gym machines isolate individual muscles. Kettlebell movements are compound — they train multiple muscle groups together, which is how your body actually moves in real life. The result is functional strength, not just muscle size.
9Are kettlebells safe for seniors?
Yes! When taught with proper technique and appropriate weights, kettlebell training is one of the better strength options for older adults. It builds the functional strength that directly supports mobility and injury prevention as you age: getting up off the floor, carrying weight without straining joints, maintaining balance. The focus on technique over load makes it accessible regardless of fitness background. If you have an existing injury or condition, flag it before class so modifications can be made.
10Do I need to bring my own kettlebell?
No. All equipment is provided. Just show up.
11What should I wear or bring?
Comfortable workout clothes and trainers. Bring water. No special footwear required.
12What if it rains?
If rain starts before class, it's postponed. If it starts mid-class, time is made up in the next session or prorated.
13How quickly will I see results?
Most people notice improved energy, posture, and strength within 4–6 weeks of consistent training. Visible changes in body composition typically follow within 8–12 weeks.
14Is $60 for a trial class worth it before committing to a 4-class pack?
The trial class is a full hour with the same structure as a regular class, it's not a watered-down intro. It gives you a realistic sense of the workout and the coach before you decide.

NO MIRRORS. NO MACHINES. NO PRESSURE.
